Linear Technology LTC4263 PSE Controller Datasheet

The LTC4263 is an autonomous Power‑over‑Ethernet (PoE) controller that integrates a power MOSFET, inrush control, current limiting, and short‑circuit protection. It operates from a single 48 V supply and supports both AC and DC disconnect sensing, allowing fully autonomous operation without a host microcontroller.

The device is offered in 14‑pin DFN (4 mm × 3 mm) and 14‑pin SO packages and provides programmable port‑current limits, detection back‑off timing, and LED status indication. It can be used in single‑port or multi‑port PoE systems, with optional power‑management pins for sharing a common 48 V source.
