The LMK03328 is an ultra-low jitter clock generator featuring two independent phase-locked loops (PLLs), eight output channels, and an integrated EEPROM. It provides multiple clocks for various gigabit serial interfaces and digital devices, reducing bill of materials (BOM) cost, board area, and improving reliability. The device includes low jitter, high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), flexible device options, and various output types such as AC-LVPECL, AC-LVDS, AC-CML, HCSL, or LVCMOS.
The device features dual input sources with automatic or manual selection, supporting crystal inputs from 10MHz to 52MHz and external inputs from 1MHz to 300MHz. It offers frequency margin options for fine-tuning using low-cost pullable crystals and coarse-tuning using output dividers. The LMK03328 supports industrial temperature ranges and is available in a 7mm x 7mm 48-QFN package.
| Jitter (Fout >100MHz) | 100fs (RMS) |
|---|---|
| Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR) | -70dBc |
| VCO Frequency Range | 4.8GHz to 5.4GHz |
| Package Type | 48-QFN |
| Core Power Supply | 3.3V |
The typical jitter value is 100fs (RMS) for output frequencies greater than 100MHz.
It supports AC-LVPECL, AC-LVDS, AC-CML, HCSL, or LVCMOS outputs.
The industrial grade temperature range is -40ºC to +85ºC.
