About this manual

The LM111, LM211, LM311 and LM311Y are high‑speed voltage comparators with optional strobe functionality. They can operate from a single 5‑V supply or ±15‑V supplies, drive loads up to 50 V at 50 mA, and feature TTL/MOS compatible outputs that can be wire‑OR connected. Strobe control forces the output off when low, providing precise timing for digital systems.

The devices are offered in multiple packages (D, DB, J, JG, P, PW, U, FK, Y) and are rated for a wide temperature range (LM111 –55 °C to 125 °C, LM211 –40 °C to 85 °C, LM311 0 °C to 70 °C). Absolute maximum ratings, electrical characteristics, and typical application circuits are provided, along with recommended operating conditions and safety notices for critical applications.
