This datasheet describes the Microchip MCP2150, an 18-pin controller implementing the IrDA standard protocol stack for wireless communication.
The MCP2150 is a cost-effective, low-pin-count device designed to implement the IrDA® standard for wireless connections. It supports the full IrDA protocol stack and bit encoding/decoding, allowing independent selection of UART and IR baud rates. The device interfaces between a Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) system's UART and an infrared transceiver. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Operating Frequency | 11.0592 MHz |
|---|---|
| Max Data Rate | 115.2 kbaud |
| Typical Current (Active) | < 1 mA @ 3.3V, 11.0592 MHz |
| Typical Current (Disabled) | 3 µA @ 5.0V |
It supports IrLAP, IrLMP, IrAS, TinyTP, and IrCOMM (9-line cooked service level).
The MCP2150 is an IrDA standard wireless connection controller that supports protocol stacks and bit encoding/decoding.
The device requires a clock source with a frequency of 11.0592 MHz.
The supported UART baud rates are 9600, 19200, 57600, and 115200.
