The Keysight L4450A is a 64‑bit LXI‑class digital I/O instrument with pattern memory, two 10 MHz counters and Ethernet connectivity.
About this manual
The L4450A provides 64 bi‑directional digital I/O bits organized as eight 8‑bit channels, each with programmable polarity and thresholds up to 5 V. It includes 128 kbytes of volatile pattern memory and two 10 MHz counter channels for counting events, frequency, period, duty cycle, pulse width and totalizing. Handshaking protocols and configurable clock output support a wide range of test applications.
Connectivity is provided via built‑in Ethernet with a graphical web interface for remote setup, monitoring and control, plus optional GPIB. The instrument ships with Keysight’s I/O Libraries Suite and drivers for popular environments such as LabVIEW, C/C++, Visual Studio and Keysight VEE Pro.
