The GE G60 Generator Protection System provides comprehensive protection, control, measurement and communication features for AC generators.
About this manual
The G60 is a modular protection relay designed for AC generators up to 1000 MW. It integrates protection functions such as stator differential, 100 % ground, backup distance, system oscillation lockout, synchro‑check, restrictive ground fault, phase‑shift, loss of excitation, over‑excitation, reverse power, low forward power and generator unbalance. Advanced automation features include flexible logic programming, extensive I/O options and built‑in IEC 61850 support.
The system offers high‑resolution measurement (up to 64 samples per cycle), waveform recording (up to 64 records), event logging (1024 time‑stamped events) and data logging (up to 16 channels). Communication protocols include IEC 61850, DNP 3.0, Modbus RTU/TCP‑IP and IEC 60870‑5‑104, with Ethernet, fiber and RS‑485 networking options. A powerful software suite (EnerVista, Viewpoint) provides configuration, diagnostics and integration with SCADA/HMI systems. This manual is written in Chinese.
