This document introduces the features and performance of the GE Fanuc Automation Programmable Controller product PAC Systems RX3i, as well as related programming and configuration. It also provides installation methods and precautions for RX3i system modules, backplanes, and power supplies.
The GE Fanuc RX3i System Manual provides an overview of the PACSystems RX3i product line, its features and the various modules that can be used. It includes detailed installation guidance, backplane and power‑supply information, and wiring instructions for both local and remote backplanes.
Later sections describe the discrete input, output and hybrid modules, analog modules, special modules such as Ethernet and motion control, and appendices with certification, safety and cable‑shielding guidelines. This manual is written in Chinese.

The maximum length is 15 m (50 ft) for an extension backplane and 213 m (700 ft) for a remote backplane.
Series 90‑30 modules are not compatible with the RX3i system.
The serial bus provides an effective data rate of 500 kB per second.
