This manual covers the installation, operation, and configuration of the Baumer CleverLevel LFFS level switch for detecting liquid levels in tanks.
The Baumer CleverLevel LFFS is a universal level switch designed to detect levels in tanks, media separation, and provide empty-pipe detection or dry-run protection for pumps. It operates by radiating a high-frequency sweep signal from the sensor tip into the tank, where the media acts as a virtual capacitor to create a switch point signal. The device measures various liquids, viscous fluids like honey or ketchup, and even dry media such as sugar or flour.
