SilShield SEC2400 is a high‑solids silicone elastomeric coating designed for above‑grade waterproofing on vertical, horizontal and roof surfaces. It provides long‑term durability, excellent UV and weather resistance, and retains color without chalking or fading. The coating adheres primerlessly to a wide range of substrates including concrete, stucco, masonry, wood, copper and painted surfaces.
The product is applied with brush, roller or airless spray after thorough surface preparation—clean, dry, structurally sound and free of contaminants. Recommended skin‑over time is 30 minutes, with tack‑free time of 2 hours. Application temperature should be above 50 °F, and a minimum dry film thickness of 10 mil is required for vertical surfaces.
