This document describes the features and specifications of the Keysight N2820A/21A high-sensitivity, high-dynamic-range current probe. The current probe can measure currents as low as 50µA and as high as 5A, both AC and DC. It has a bandwidth of 3MHz for the narrow channel and 500kHz for the wide channel. It supports precise peak and reactive current measurements and can measure the variation of current consumption over time. It provides an AutoProbe interface with 1MΩ input impedance and offers a wide dynamic range and optional interchangeable sensing heads.
The Keysight N2820A series consists of high-sensitivity current probes designed for measuring small currents with a wide dynamic range. The series includes the dual-channel N2820A and single-channel N2821A models, both capable of measuring AC and DC currents from 50 µA to 5 A (depending on the accessory). These probes feature two parallel amplifiers with different gain settings: a low-gain channel for viewing the full waveform overview and a high-gain channel for detecting minute current fluctuations. This manual is written in Chinese.
