This document provides the user guide for the ADF4360-6EBZ1 evaluation board, which introduces the features and usage of the evaluation board.
The ADF4360-6EBZ1 evaluation board is designed to allow users to evaluate the performance of the ADF4360-6 integrated PLL and VCO frequency synthesizer. The board includes the ADF4360-6BCPZ chip, a USB connector, SMA connectors for RF outputs, and an on-board loop filter. It can be powered by a 9V battery or USB supply and supports software control from a PC.
| Typical phase noise performance | -141 dBc/Hz at 3 MHz offset |
|---|---|
| Typical spurious performance | -65 dBc at 200 kHz offset (1.2 GHz output) |
| Power supply | 9 V supplies or USB |
| Reference input | 10 MHz TCXO |
| Loop filter center frequency | 1200 MHz |
| PFD frequency | 200 kHz |
| Low-pass filter bandwidth | 10 kHz |
The software is installed in a default directory called C:/Program Files/Analog Devices/ADF4360.
Microsoft's .NET Framework Version 3.5 or later is required.
It takes about 5 seconds for the status label to change.
