The projector may not respond if there is an object between the IR emitter and receiver, ambient light is too bright, certain fluorescent lights are used, or a strong light source shines into the IR receiver.
Never touch the new lamp with bare hands, as invisible residue from skin oil may shorten its life; use a cloth or glove instead.
