The EXTECH MA1500 is a True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter designed for heavy-duty use. It features a molded case and comes fully tested and calibrated to provide reliable service. The device measures AC Current, DC Current, AC/DC Voltage, Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Diode Test, Duty Cycle, and Continuity.

Do not measure current on a circuit whose voltage exceeds 600V. Also, do not apply voltage to the meter when the resistance function is selected.
If the value is less than 400A, rotate the function switch to the 400A AC/DC position.
Select DC mode with no conductor in the jaw and press the ZERO button.
