This manual describes how to install and operate a pool filter
This document provides installation instructions for the Hayward SP1090WM wide mouth skimmer, covering cut-out requirements for the pool wall and outlet fitting, as well as the assembly of the skimmer face plate and sealing gaskets. It details the steps for connecting filter suction and return hoses and includes a parts list with part numbers for the skimmer body, basket, cover, and various fittings.

Drain the pool level approximately 2 inches below the skimmer opening, remove the directional flow outlet fitting, and disconnect filter hoses.
The average water level should be approximately at the mid point of the face plate.
You must drill or punch 22 holes in the pool wall per drawing.
Use the four 5/8" pan head screws provided to fasten the skimmer face.
