About this manual

The CMPWR300 is an 8-pin Power SOIC package designed as a complete power management solution for applications like PCI adapter cards and network interface cards. It provides a continuous 3.3V output by intelligently selecting among three independent input voltage sources based on priority: Vsec, Vby, and Vin by.

The device features built-in hysteresis to ensure smooth transitions between supplies without loss of output regulation. When the primary or standby supply is present, it regulates the output; otherwise, an integrated switch with very low resistance (0.12Ω typical) connects the auxiliary input directly to the output.
