R3117xxx1/2 series LOW VOLTAGE DETECTOR with SENSE pin is CMOS-based voltage detector ICs with high detector threshold accuracy and ultra-low supply current, which can be operated at an extremely low voltage and is used for system reset as an example.
The Ricoh R3117x series are CMOS-based voltage detector ICs featuring high detector threshold accuracy and ultra-low supply current. They operate at extremely low voltages from 1.0V to 6.0V and are suitable for applications such as CPU reset, battery checking, and power failure detection.
The devices consist of a voltage reference unit, comparator, resistors for threshold setting, an output driver, and a hysteresis circuit. The detector threshold is fixed internally with high accuracy (tolerance 15mV or 1.0%) and does not require adjustment. Two output types are available: Nch open drain and CMOS.
| Supply Current (Typ) | 0.29nA |
|---|---|
| Operating Voltage Range | 1.0V to 6.0V |
| Detector Threshold Range | 0.7V to 5.0V |
| Operating Temperature Range | -40°C to 105°C |
| Output Types | Nch Open Drain and CMOS |
Use the R3117xxx3A/C and R3117Qxx4A/C Series to avoid noise issues when the SENSE pin voltage rises gradually.
The tolerance is 15mV when -Voer is 1.5V or less, and 1.0% when -Voer is greater than 1.5V.
The output voltage keeps its 'L' level even if the sense pin voltage drops to 0V.
