About this manual

Agilent's EasiCal pre-prepared calibration kits consist of two different combs, each with ten detachable spatulas supporting a mixture of five polymer standards. The thin film of polymer on the tip of the PTFE spatulas rapidly dissolves when immersed in eluent to provide two GPC/SEC calibration solutions.

There are two versions: PS-1 with a molecular weight range of 580-7,500,000 and PS-2 with a range of 580-400,000. They can be used with any GPC system or column. For EasiCal PS-1 standards used to calibrate Agilent PLgel MIXED-A columns, a four column set is recommended to achieve baseline resolution of the standards with typical efficiencies of 17,000 plates per meter.
