Instructions for cutting Kevlar® with a cutter
The Ideal 45-344 is a tool designed for cutting complete cables using a two-step process. First, the jacket and glass fiber are cut and broken using the tool's Breaker-Notch feature. Second, the Kevlar aramid strength member is trimmed using the fine serrated edges of the blade.
The fine serrated edges of the tool should be used.
Periodically clean the inside surfaces of the blades with a soft cloth.
