bq2007 is a highly integrated monolithic CMOS IC designed to provide intelligent battery charging and charge status monitoring for stand-alone charge systems.
The bq2007 is a fast-charge IC designed to provide intelligent battery charging and charge status monitoring for standalone charge systems. It supports NiCd and NiMH batteries with features such as precise charging independent of the number of cells, discharge-before-charge on demand, and pulse trickle charge conditioning. The device includes built-in 10-step voltage-based charge status monitoring with display options for seven-segment monotonic bargraphs or fully decoded BCD digits, capable of driving LCD or LED segments directly.
