About this manual

The STMicroelectronics ST93C06 and ST93C06C are 256-bit Electrically Erasable Programmable Memory (EEPROM) devices fabricated with High Endurance Single Polysilicon CMOS technology. They offer a dual organization of either 16 x 16 bits or 32 x 8 bits, selectable via the ORG input pin.

These devices operate from a single +5V supply and support sequential read operations as well as byte/word and entire memory programming instructions. The ST93C06C version features enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) and latch-up performance compared to the standard ST93C06.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between ST93C06 and ST93C06C?

The ST93C06C version has enhanced ESD and latch-up performance compared to the standard ST93C06.

Can the memory organization be changed?

Yes, it can be selected by a signal applied on the ORG input pin.

Is an erase cycle required before writing?

No, programming is internally self-timed and does not require an erase cycle prior to the Write instruction.
