About this manual

This document details the synthesis of Leu-enkephalin (H-Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-NH2) using AmphiSpheres 20 RAM resin on a 0.1 mmol scale. The peptide was prepared using a peptide synthesizer with Fmoc-AA-OH and HBTU coupling reagent. Following assembly, the peptide was cleaved from the resin using TFA / TIPS / water and purified via rotary evaporation and trituration with cold ether.
