About this manual

The AME8833 family of positive linear regulators features low quiescent current (50µA typ.), low dropout voltage, and excellent Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR). These rugged devices include Thermal Shutdown and Current Fold-back protection to prevent failure under worst-case operating conditions. The AME8834 variant allows for an adjustable output voltage using an external resistor divider.

These regulators are stable with a minimum output capacitance of 0.22µF and are available in ultra-small SC-70 and SOT-25-L packages, making them ideal for pocket and hand-held applications such as cellular phones, instrumentation, and portable electronics.
