AME AME8801/8812/8840 300mA CMOS LDO Datasheet

The AME8801/8812/8840 family of positive, linear regulators from AME, Inc. features low quiescent current, low dropout voltage, and are ideal for battery applications. They have thermal shutdown and current fold-back to prevent device failure under the worst operating conditions. For applications requiring low noise and regulated supply, a 1000 pF capacitor should be placed between bypass and ground. The AME8801 is stable with an output capacitance of 2.2µF or greater.
