About this manual

The AME8500 family offers user‑selectable reset voltage thresholds, reset time intervals, and output driver configurations, all preset at the factory. The devices monitor supply voltage and assert a reset when the voltage drops below the set threshold, with optional active‑high or active‑low outputs and push‑pull or open‑drain drivers. The AME8501 adds an over‑temperature shutdown that triggers at 80 °C and releases at 60 °C.

Available in small SOT‑23, SOT‑89 and SOT‑25 packages, the devices feature low quiescent current (< 3 µA) and a wide operating temperature range (‑40 °C to +85 °C). Detailed ordering information, pin configurations, absolute maximum ratings, and mechanical dimensions are provided for system designers.
