Frequently asked questions

How should a Micro-GC be powered relative to the computer?

For most PCs and Micro-GCs (2002/2003), always power off the Micro-GC before powering on the computer, then turn on the Micro-GC after switching on the PC.

Can the 3400 or 3600 GC use standby temperatures directly in System Control?

No, the Star Workstation cannot use standby temperatures directly; users must create a Method to set all heated zones' temperatures.
