About this manual

The EMD5 and UMD5N are dual digital transistors offered by Rohm. They feature independent transistor elements to reduce interference and can be mounted with EMT3 or UMT3 automatic mounting machines. Both PNP and NPN versions are available, each with an integrated resistor.

The datasheet lists absolute maximum ratings such as a supply voltage of ±50 V, input voltage ranges of –10 V to +40 V (DTr1) and –20 V to +7 V (DTr2), power dissipation up to 150 mW, and a junction temperature limit of 150 °C. Packaging options include EMT6 and UMT6 packages, with dimensions and tape codes specified for production.
