About this manual

The SFH 7710 is an SMD orientation sensor that detects tilt by the gravity‑dependent position of a steel ball. It features low current consumption, a digital open‑drain output, a very small package, and IC‑controlled operation.

Typical applications include digital cameras, camcorders, mobile phones and computer peripherals. The device operates from 2.3 V to 3.6 V supply voltage, draws up to 10 mA output current, and works within an ambient temperature range of –20 °C to +65 °C. Recommended pull‑up resistors are 10 kΩ–100 kΩ and the tilt angle ranges from 70° to 250° depending on output state. This manual is written in German.
