The 24‑Pin Small PAL Family is a programmable array logic (PAL) device that provides six popular PAL architectures in a 24‑pin DIP package. It draws a maximum supply current of 100 mA and can achieve propagation delays as fast as 25 ns. The devices feature security fuses to prevent copying of proprietary logic patterns and are supported by National’s PLANT development software.
The family includes six device types (PAL12L10, PAL14L8, PAL16L6, PAL18L4, PAL20L2, PAL20C1) with various input‑output configurations. Detailed electrical and switching characteristics, absolute maximum ratings, and pin‑out diagrams are provided for both commercial and military versions.
