This datasheet introduces the features, functions, applications of TC1303A/TC1303B/ TC1303C/TC1304.
The TC1303/TC1304 family combines a 500 mA synchronous buck regulator and a 300 mA low‑dropout regulator (LDO) with a power‑good monitor, providing two regulated outputs for processor core and peripheral voltages. Features include over 90 % typical efficiency, a 2.0 MHz fixed‑frequency PWM that switches to PFM under light load, and selectable fixed or adjustable output voltages.
Typical applications are cellular phones, portable computers, USB‑powered devices, handheld medical instruments, organizers and PDAs. The device includes protection functions such as undervoltage lockout (UVLO), over‑temperature shutdown, and output short‑circuit protection, and is offered in a 10‑pin DFN or MSOP package.
