MAX7304 is a 16-port GPIO and LED driver with I2C interface from MAXIM company, which supports 1.62V to 3.6V power supply and has high level of ESD protection.
The MAX7304 from Maxim Integrated is a 16‑port GPIO expander that provides 12 push‑pull GPIOs and four open‑drain ports configurable as constant‑current LED drivers. It operates from a 1.62 V to 3.6 V supply and supports up to four I²C slave addresses. Each LED driver can sink up to 20 mA and offers 256‑step PWM intensity control with optional fading.
The device is offered in a 24‑pin TQFN package with an exposed pad and a 25‑bump wafer‑level package for portable electronics. It meets extended temperature specifications (‑40 °C to +85 °C) and high ESD protection (+8 kV contact, +15 kV air‑gap).
