The MAX7302 I2C-/SMBus™-compatible, serial-interfaced peripheral features 9 level-translating I/Os, and operates from a 1.62V to 3.6V power supply.
The MAX7302 from Maxim is a serial‑interfaced peripheral that provides nine individually configurable I/O ports. Each port can be set as an input, push‑pull output, or open‑drain output, and ports P2‑P9 can also function as configurable logic arrays (CLAs) for user‑defined logic gates. The device includes an internal oscillator for PWM, blink, and key‑debounce functions, and supports level‑translation via a separate VLA supply.
The part operates from a 1.62 V to 3.6 V supply (VDD) with a VLA port‑supply range of 1.62 V to 5.5 V, and is available in 16‑pin QSOP and 16‑pin TQFN (3 mm × 3 mm) packages. It is specified for temperatures from –40 °C to +125 °C and offers up to 25 mA sink and 10 mA source per output.
