About this manual

The TPSMA6.8‑TPSMA43A series are surface‑mount automotive transient voltage suppressors (TVS) with patented PAR® construction. They provide up to 400 W peak pulse power, fast response, low incremental surge resistance, and meet MSL level 1. Typical applications include protection of sensitive electronics in consumer, computer, industrial, automotive and telecommunication equipment.

The devices are supplied in a DO‑214AC (SMA) case, with a maximum solder dip of 260 °C for 40 seconds. Electrical characteristics such as breakdown voltage, peak pulse current and forward surge current are listed, along with mechanical dimensions, ordering part numbers and package options.
