MAX3060E/MAX3061E/MAX3062E ±15kV ESD-Protected, Fail-Safe, 20Mbps, Slew-Rate- Limited RS-485/RS-422 Transceivers in a SOT
The MAX3060E, MAX3061E and MAX3062E are high‑speed RS‑485/RS‑422 transceivers offered in an 8‑pin SOT‑23 package. They feature fail‑safe receivers, hot‑swap circuitry, and up to +15 kV ESD protection. The MAX3060E and MAX3061E include slew‑rate limiting for EMI‑sensitive applications, while the MAX3062E provides a non‑limited driver for up to 20 Mbps data rates.
Typical applications include industrial‑control LANs, level translators, and EMI‑sensitive communications. Up to 256 transceivers can share a half‑duplex bus, and the devices draw about 910 µA no‑load and 790 µA fully loaded.
