ADV7188 is a multi-format SDTV video decoder that supports fast switch overlay from Analog Devices
The ADV7188 is a single‑chip video decoder that automatically detects and converts NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards from composite, S‑Video, and component inputs into a digital ITU‑R BT.656 4:2:2 output. It features four 12‑bit noise‑shaped video ADCs, a 5‑line adaptive comb filter, and adaptive digital line‑length tracking for reliable operation with VCRs and other noisy sources.
The device operates from a 28.63636 MHz crystal, offers 12 analog video input channels, and provides a flexible 2‑wire I²C‑compatible serial interface for configuration. It is supplied in an 80‑lead LQFP package and is rated for industrial temperature ranges from –40 °C to +85 °C.
