This manual introduces how to use the Instant Ear Thermometer, which can measure the temperature in the ear canal safely, quickly and accurately
This manual explains how to safely use the Omron MC-510 Instant Ear Thermometer, including preparation, measurement modes (One‑Second and Direct), and proper probe‑cover handling. It also covers safety warnings, battery replacement, and how to switch between °C and °F.
Technical details such as voltage, power consumption, battery life, sensor type, measurement range, and environmental limits are listed, along with troubleshooting tips and a Q&A section for common user questions.

You can measure consecutively up to three times; after that the unit may overheat and you should wait about ten minutes before measuring again.
A low reading can be caused by a dirty or broken probe cover, a dirty infrared sensor, removing the unit before measurement finishes, or a cooled ear (e.g., after using an ice bag).
