This document describes the ADuM5401/ADuM5402/ADuM5403/ADuM5404 quad-channel, 2.5 kV isolators with integrated DC-to-DC converter. It features isoPower integrated, isolated DC-to-DC converter, regulated 3.3V or 5.0V output, up to 500mW output power, quad DC-to-25Mbps (NRZ) signal isolation channels, etc.
The ADuM5401‑ADuM5404 family are quad‑channel digital isolators that incorporate Analog Devices' isoPower® isolated DC‑DC converter. Each device provides four independent isolation channels, supports data rates from 1 Mbps to 25 Mbps, and delivers regulated 3.3 V or 5.0 V output power up to 500 mW.
The parts are designed for RS‑232/RS‑422/RS‑485 transceivers, industrial field‑bus isolation, power‑supply start‑up bias, and isolated sensor interfaces. They meet UL 1577, CSA, and IEC 60747‑5‑2 safety standards and operate from –40 °C to +105 °C.
