The ADuM221x series provides two independent isolation channels that support bidirectional communication and level translation between 3 V and 5 V systems. They combine high‑speed CMOS with monolithic air‑core transformer technology to deliver high isolation voltage, low power consumption and robust ESD performance.
Typical applications include medical equipment, power supplies, RS‑232/RS‑422/RS‑485 transceiver isolation and other general‑purpose high‑voltage isolation needs. The devices meet several safety and regulatory approvals such as UL 1577, CSA, IEC 60601‑1 and VDE certifications.
