TK717xxS is a low dropout linear regulator with a built-in electronic switch that can be controlled by TTL or CMOS logic levels. When the control pin is pulled to a logic high level, the device is in the ON state. In the OFF state, the output impedance becomes very low, quickly discharging the output capacitor. An external capacitor can be connected to the noise bypass pin to lower the output noise level to 30 ~ 50 μVrms. An internal PNP pass transistor is used to connect the input and output voltages.
