ADT7316/ADT7317/ADT7318 are Analog Devices' four-channel 12/10/8-bit digital temperature sensors and voltage output DACs.
The ADT7316, ADT7317 and ADT7318 combine a high‑accuracy 10‑bit temperature‑to‑digital converter with four on‑chip DACs (12‑bit, 10‑bit or 8‑bit depending on the model). They operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply, provide a DAC output range of 0 V to 2 V REF, and feature buffered rail‑to‑rail output buffers. The devices support I²C/SMBus, SPI, QSPI, Microwire and DSP‑compatible 4‑wire serial interfaces, and include power‑down circuitry that holds DAC outputs at 0 V until a valid write occurs.
These parts are suited for portable instruments, personal computers, telecommunications, test equipment, domestic appliances and process‑control applications. Key specifications include a temperature range of –40 °C to +120 °C, ±0.5 °C sensor accuracy, conversion times as fast as 712 µs, and a power‑down current below 10 µA.
