This document provides detailed information on the AD8013, including features, applications, and performance parameters.
The AD8013 is a triple video amplifier that operates from a single +4.2 V to +13 V supply (or ±2.1 V to ±6.5 V dual). Each of the three amplifiers draws about 3.5 mA quiescent current and can deliver up to 30 mA output current with a short‑circuit capability of 95 mA. It offers a 140 MHz 3 dB bandwidth, 0.1 dB gain flatness to 60 MHz, and a 1000 V/µs slew rate.
Designed for LCD displays, video line drivers, broadcast and professional video equipment, the device is available in 14‑pin DIP and SOIC packages and includes a high‑speed per‑channel disable function for power‑down or high‑impedance operation. It operates over –40 °C to +85 °C and can drive large capacitive loads with minimal overshoot.
| Supply Voltage (Single Supply) | +4.2 V to +13 V |
|---|---|
| Supply Voltage (Dual Supply) | ±2.1 V to ±6.5 V |
| Quiescent Current per Amplifier | ≈3.5 mA |
| Slew Rate | 1000 V/µs |
| Output Current per Amplifier | 30 mA |
| Short‑Circuit Current | 95 mA |
| Operating Temperature Range | –40 °C to +85 °C |
It can run from +4.2 V to +13 V on a single supply, or from ±2.1 V to ±6.5 V on dual supplies.
Each amplifier draws about 3.5 mA of quiescent current at a 5 V supply.
Each amplifier can source up to 30 mA, with a short‑circuit current rating of 95 mA.
