This document describes a SPI®-/I2C®-compatible, 10-bit digital temperature sensor and 8-channel ADC ADT7411 Rev. B. The product features a 10-bit temperature-to-digital converter, 10-bit 8-channel ADC, input range, temperature range, supply range, etc.
The ADT7411 combines a 10‑bit temperature‑to‑digital converter with a 10‑bit 8‑channel ADC in a 16‑lead QSOP package. It operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and offers both 4‑wire SPI/SMBus and 2‑wire I²C compatible serial interfaces. Key features include low power‑down current, double‑buffered input logic, and selectable internal reference.
Typical applications include portable battery‑powered instruments, PCs, smart battery chargers, telecommunications test equipment, domestic appliances, and process controls. The handbook also contains ordering information for the ADT7411 and its evaluation board.
