This is a data sheet about PIC16F685/687/689/690
The PIC16F685/687/689/690 family are 20‑pin flash‑based, 8‑bit CMOS microcontrollers featuring nanoWatt low‑power technology. They are offered in PDIP, SOIC, SSOP and QFN packages and include a high‑performance RISC CPU with only 35 instructions, an 8‑level deep hardware stack, and a range of low‑power modes such as Sleep and Ultra‑Low‑Power Wake‑up.
Key on‑chip peripherals include a 10‑bit, 12‑channel ADC, two analog comparators, an enhanced USART supporting RS‑485/RS‑232/LIN, SPI/I²C (SSP), multiple timers (Timer0, Timer1 with gate control, Timer2), and an ECCP+ PWM module. Memory options provide up to 4 KB Flash, 256 B RAM and 256 B EEPROM with high endurance and long data retention.
