Microchip 93AA46/56/66 Serial EEPROM Datasheet

93AA46/56/66 series are 1K, 2K and 4K low voltage serial electrically erasable programmable read only memories. The device memory is configured as x8 or x16 bits depending on the ORG pin setup. Advanced CMOS technology makes these devices ideal for low power non-volatile memory applications. 93AA Series is available in standard 8-pin DIP and surface mount SOIC packages.

About this manual

The 93AA46/56/66 series are 1 Kbit, 2 Kbit and 4 Kbit Microwire® serial EEPROMs offered in 8‑pin PDIP and SOIC packages. They operate from 1.8 V to 5.5 V and feature low active read current (70 µA) and standby current (2 µA). The devices support up to 10 M erase/write cycles for the 93AA56 and 93AA66, and 1 M cycles for the 93AA46, with data retention guaranteed for more than 200 years.

The datasheet provides detailed electrical characteristics, timing diagrams, pin descriptions, instruction sets for both x8 and x16 organizations, and ordering information. It also includes worldwide sales and service contacts for Microchip Technology Inc.
