This manual introduces the use of the HAMEG HM8018 LCR bridge
The HM8018 is a modular LCR meter from HAMEG Instruments, offering measurements of inductance, capacitance, resistance, quality factor and more. It can be used with the optional HM8001‑2 base unit and supports both 2‑wire and 4‑wire measurement methods.

Use double‑shielded IEEE‑bus cables, such as HAMEG’s HZ72S or HZ72L, for data lines.
The instrument provides five selectable frequencies: 100 Hz, 120 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz and 25 kHz.
The basic measurement accuracy is 0.5 %.
