SHT1x is a surface mount (SMD) humidity and temperature sensor that provides fully calibrated, digital output, low power consumption, excellent long-term stability and reflow solderable packaging.
The SHT1x family (SHT10, SHT11, SHT15) are surface‑mountable humidity and temperature sensors with fully calibrated digital output. The datasheet describes the sensor architecture, packaging dimensions, material composition, and available evaluation kits.
Detailed sections cover sensor performance (resolution, accuracy, repeatability), electrical characteristics (supply voltage, power consumption), interface specifications (2‑wire serial protocol, pin assignments), mechanical handling (soldering profile, storage conditions), and reconditioning procedures for sensors exposed to extreme conditions.
| Accuracy (humidity) | ±2 %RH typical |
|---|---|
| Accuracy (temperature) | ±0.5 °C typical |
| Supply voltage | 2.4 V – 5.5 V (recommended 3.3 V) |
| Power consumption (measuring) | 3 mW |
| Response time (63 % step) | 5 – 30 s |
| Operating humidity range | 0 % – 100 % RH |
The sensor can be reflowed with a peak temperature of up to 260 °C for no more than 40 s for Pb‑free assembly, or 220 °C for up to 150 s for conventional solder.
A supply voltage of 3.3 V provides the highest accuracy for the SHT1x sensors.
