The 206/208 series DIP switches are multifunctional through hole DIP switches with optimized mechanical structure and contact system. The 206 series switch contacts are gold plated and the 208 series switch contacts are solder coated, both using UL 94 V-0 plastic. The switch has 1 to 10 and 12 positions of SPST, 1 to 6 positions of SPDT and DPDT, 1 to 3 positions of DPDT and 4PST, and 1 to 4 positions of 3PST.
The CTS 206/208 DIP Series includes premium (Series 206) and economical (Series 208) programmable DIP switches. Features include a standard 2.54 mm × 7.62 mm DIP pitch, optional low‑profile or extended actuators, sealed versions for wave soldering, and an electrostatic discharge shield rated to 22 kV. Electrical specifications cover SPST, SPDT, DPST, DPDT, and multi‑pole configurations with contact wiping action and high insulation resistance.
The handbook also lists ordering information, actuator height options, RoHS compliance, and detailed mechanical dimensions for each switch configuration. Tables provide part numbers, dimensions, and actuation life for all variants, enabling easy selection and procurement.
