About this manual

The ADSP-BF54x Blackfin processors are high‑performance, low‑power embedded processors that combine dual‑MACs, multiple ALUs, video ALUs and a flexible RISC‑like core. They support up to 600 MHz core frequency, a wide range of operating voltages, and include an on‑chip programmable voltage regulator.

The processors integrate extensive system peripherals such as USB OTG, CAN, UART, SPI, TWI, SD/SDIO, ATA/ATAPI, multiple timers, real‑time clock, watchdog, and up to 152 GPIOs. Memory architecture includes up to 324 KB of on‑chip SRAM/cache, optional L2 SRAM (up to 128 KB), and support for external DDR, mobile DDR, asynchronous SRAM, NOR/NAND flash, and other memory types within a 4 GB unified address space.
