About this manual

The AD9357 is a high‑performance RF transceiver designed for WiMAX, BWA and LTE base stations and fixed CPEs. It combines a front‑end with a mixed‑signal baseband and offers a JESD207 or ADI/Q digital interface to a baseband processor, ASIC or FPGA. The device operates from 3.3 GHz to 3.8 GHz and supports channel bandwidths from 3.5 MHz to 10 MHz.

Key features include integrated 12‑bit ADCs and DACs, a fractional‑N synthesizer with low phase noise, autonomous AGC loops, and a single 3.3 V supply. The 10 mm × 10 mm, 144‑ball CSP‑BGA package integrates all required regulators and provides up to 58 dB of transmit power control with 0.25 dB steps.
