Agilent Technologies, an industry leader in high brightness LED technology, offers the Agilent PLCC-2 SMT LED products. These products feature a standard PLCC-2 package, high reliability, and a larger temperature range. They are ideal for instruments/switch/icon backlighting and can easily couple with light pipe/light guide for even larger area backlighting. The package is also designed to be compatible with both IR-solder reflow and through-the-wave soldering.
Agilent’s PLCC‑2 surface‑mount LEDs are built in a standard PLCC‑2 package with a molded plastic reflector and a bent lead frame, encapsulated in a proprietary epoxy. The LEDs use AllnGaP and InGaN dice technologies to deliver high brightness.
These LEDs offer a 120° viewing angle, operate from –40 °C to 100 °C, and are compatible with both IR‑solder reflow and through‑the‑wave soldering, making them suitable for automotive interior, instrument panels, and other backlighting applications.
