The LM22672 is a 1 A SIMPLE SWITCHER® step‑down (buck) voltage regulator that operates from a wide input range of 4.5 V to 42 V. It offers a fixed 5.0 V output version and an adjustable version that can be set as low as 1.285 V. The device integrates voltage‑mode control, internal compensation, and protection features such as current limiting and thermal shutdown.
The regulator runs at a fixed 500 kHz switching frequency (adjustable from 200 kHz to 1 MHz) and can be synchronized to an external clock up to 1 MHz.
